New Blood Fortifies Cdp

IT'S good to see some dynamic new blood emerging in the Christian Democratic Party strengthening Fred Nile's team.
Those standing with him for the upper house (the Legislative Council - where all new laws are debated) are Dr Gordon Moyes, well-known for his tireless work with Sydney City Mission over many years with branches now all over the country helping the poor and lonely; his recent radio talk-back program and parliamentary knowledge, also adviser to the Prime Minister and NSW Premier.
The other newcomer is Ross Clifford, Principal of Morling Baptist Theological College, also an experienced radio talk-back presenter, a former lawyer and president of the NSW Council of Churches.
Fred Nile himself (being now the longest serving and most respected member) is known as ``the Father of the Parliament" because of his knowledge and integrity, he is also referred to as ``the conscience of the Parliament". They tell me everyone comes to Fred for advice before they do anything.
This seems to be just the kind of team we need in these troubled times of change and uncertainty.
A week ago the Mercury reported that the Christian Democratic Party was elected in Holland. It would be great if our churches and indeed the community in general got behind this team of dedicated men as the people of Holland apparently did recently.

Keiraville.
