MORAL crusader and NSW MLC Fred Nile will take his fight for a traditional society to Canberra when he contests a Senate seat at the next federal election.
The Reverend Nile, founder and leader of the Christian Democratic Party (CDP), plans to leave NSW Parliament after 23 years in a bid to become a moral voice for the nation.
Mr Nile, 69, also foreshadowed a possible retirement announcement from federal independent Senator Brian Harradine, with whom he met last week.
